About us:

Grilled to the Mac is a cheeky play on words referring to the staples of North American Cuisine, Grilled Sandwiches (called toasties in Australia), Mac N Cheese and French Canadian Poutine.  Bringing over 28 years of international hospitality experience including 23 years of first hand food truck eating experience from his native Canada, Jason is out to provide Perth with a traditional North American Food Truck dining experience.  Street food is comfort food, it is what makes people smile, feed their hunger and upset their cardiologist.  The only thing we take serious at Grilled to the Mac, besides providing excellent value food, great service and a fun times, is not taking ourselves too serious.

Jason Gelineau has spent his entire career to date in the hospitality industry.  With over 28 years experience, starting as a dishwasher at the age of 15 back in his native Canada.  Jason has worked both back and front of house and has held most roles within Restaurants and Hotels leading up to General Manager and Operations Manager in his most recent roles within the Cruise and Aviation Industry.  With Grilled to the Mac, Jason goes back to his first passion and grass roots, cooking comfort food for all to enjoy.  Never short of a word, you will enjoy his vibrant personality served with that undeniable and hard to resist Canadian accent.

Mac the Trailer will be hard to miss on the streets of Perth and surrounding suburbs with its cheese themed golden yellow exterior.  Find us out most major events, markets and festivals.  We look forward to serving you and are available for private functions, charity events and corporate events.
